DESCRIPTION:Today!\n\n\n\nEveryone is invited to join us on Zoom\, for the all Regions together event with special guest Mojtaba Hosseini\n\n\n\nWe are pleased to announce that Mojtaba Hosseini\, from Open Door will be interviewed at this event over zoom.  \n\n\n\nMojtaba is an inspiring leader who used to lead a House Church movement in Iran and suffered persecution and prison for his faith  \n\n\n\nThis is a great opportunity for all our regions to come together and hear from this inspirational man. \n\n\n\nJoin us by booking online here\n\n\n\nOne ticket is one device on zoom\, so please sign up for one device if possible to maximise availability\, thank you! \n\n\n\nThis event is free\, however there is an opportunity to donate if you wish. Your donation helps New Wine Cymru make such events possible. Thank you. \n\n\n\nSpecial Guest: Mojtaba Hosseini\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMojtaba had a tough upbringing in Iran. Mojtaba gave his life to Christ and joined the local secret House Church\, straight after seeing His brother become a Christian and how his life turnaround completely. A life changing experience. In a short period of time and after rapid church growth Mojtaba stepped into a leadership position in the Church. \n\n\n\nIn 2009\, Mojtaba and eight other Christians were arrested and charged for Practicing Christianity in Iran. Thankfully he only received a probational sentence. Nevertheless\, he had a strong conviction to carry on his work in the House Church. Then in 2012. He explains: \n\n\n\n“On a cold winter day\, the police raided the House Church meeting. It was terrible. The children were crying while the police officers were shouting at the parents. The other leaders and I were separated from the rest. Then we were thrown into prison.   \n\n\n\nMojtaba’s time in prison was full of uncertainties. He was incarcerated in a packed cell with some of the vilest criminals in Iran with terrible crimes to their case files. On top of that\, the prison house seemed like an impregnable fortress. As prisoners\, Mojtaba and other inmates were surrounded by walls to the extent that it seemed impossible to have access to Bibles. \n\n\n\nHelp came from an unexpected source. There was a prison Imam\, who came daily to pray with the Muslim prisoners. Apparently\, the imam was so impressed about the commitment of Mojtaba and other Christian inmates\, that he decided to help them.One day\, the Imam brought printouts of the Bible in English as an English lesson. One Christian who spoke English very well translated everything into Farsi\, in a way that the Christian inmates were able to read and share the scriptures together.   \n\n\n\nMojtaba’s second prison sentence lasted three years. He was released in 2015\, when He left Iran. He currently lives in the United Kingdom with his Hanna.

DESCRIPTION:You are invited to the Leaders Conference 2025\n\n\n\nGrowing Churches\n\n\n\nThe June NWC conference is for Church leaders and teams. It’s the time when all the Regions come together\, and guests are very welcome too. We always enjoy the friendships\, love and unity\, learning from one another\, worshipping together and taking time out to re-focus and re-connect.   \n\n\n\nThis year we will be learning from the leaders of churches that are growing in Wales. Churches who are seeing people come to Jesus\, seeing many baptisms\, youth groups growing\, families joining\, events working\, people walking into church searching and new Christians added to the church and finding places to serve. We are asking the leaders of growing churches to share the principles they are employing that is resulting in growth right here in Wales.  \n\n\n\nFrom churches in all contexts across the breadth of our nation\, rural\, city\, seaside\, North & South\, East and West! \n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you. Bring the whole team to energise and spark fresh vision for all the potential of every church in Wales to see growth this year.  \n\n\n\nIt will take place at venue2 in Swansea. \n\n\n\nTickets available here: \n\n\n\n\nBook here\n\n\n\n\nAs always the conference seeks to encourage and equip us in our leadership development\, empowering us to cultivate churches that do mission well across Wales.
