DESCRIPTION:The Turnaround Church day is designed for leaders who serve in a church setting that has seen great things in the past and who are looking for a fresh anointing of God’s Spirit and power for today. \nSometimes a church’s history\, culture\, premises or tradition can make it feel like its best days are behind it rather than ahead. Moving forward with vision can be an uphill battle so New Wine Cymru invites you to a day of shared experience and lessons learned with leaders who have seen fruit in such situations and successfully led a turnaround. \nSpeakers will be Paul Dando\, Rob Jones and Peter Lewis. \nJoin us for a great day that will include time for teaching\, ministry\, lunch\, Q&A and fellowship. \nSuggested lunch donation\, £5. \nPlease confirm your attendance in advance so that lunch can be booked. \n  \n\n \nPowered by Eventbrite\n\n  \nPaul Dando has been the senior leader of Grace Church\, West Wales since 2000 and was previously a pastor in Bethel Church\, Newport and New Life\, Lincoln. A founder member of Ground Level Ministry Team\, he served that network for 30 years. He leads the New Wine Cymru south west region and is part of the National Executive. Paul is married to Pearl and they have two children who live in London. \n  \n \nRob was powerfully converted as a teenager following a serious accident and a miraculous healing. He trained at London Bible College and has been involved in church planting in Wales for many years. He currently provides support\, encouragement and oversight to a number of churches across Wales. He is a member of the Waleswide national team\, the current President of Gweini and leads the New Wine Valleys network. His primary passion is worship. He is currently part of the leadership team of Acts Community Church in the Rhondda. He has been married to Gaynor for 30 years and they have two sons\, Sam and Jonathan. \n  \nPeter Lewis is rooted in the Church in Wales and has led churches over the last 20 years in rural\, urban\, Welsh language and youth-centred contexts.  He is well versed in the ups and downs of enabling congregations to follow a vision\, and his approach is to be attentive to the Lord’s prompting for serving the community as we step out in faith. \n  \n
